  2. Instead, Neostampa software is provided with a physical dongle.
  3. The Neostampa software comes in bright yellow packaging labeled “Important.”
  4. Do NOT throw this packaging away.

  6. If the dongle is lost or thrown away, printing will not be possible.
  7. Replacement of a lost dongle is the user’s responsibility.

Pre-Flashing

  4. Recommended setting is Open.

Auto Clean

  1. Auto clean manages automatic cleaning cycles.
  2. The printer stops after 10,000 passes to perform a cleaning.
  3. Default setting is Close.
  4. Clean Flush performs quick pre-flashing into the capping station.
  5. Clean Weak performs a standard cleaning.
  6. Clean Normal increases cleaning time and pump pressure.
  7. Clean Strong further increases cleaning duration.

Carriage Margin Settings

  1. Type is normally set to Together.
  2. With Together enabled, the carriage moves only across the printed width.
  3. If disabled, the carriage travels across the full media width, slowing prints.
  4. Auto Reset is recommended to be set to Yes.
  5. Auto Reset ensures the carriage width resets after each image.

Media Settings

  1. Print start position depends on how the media is loaded.
  2. Default example value is 50 mm.
  3. Measure from the carriage home position to the start of the media.

Confidence Strip Settings

  1. Confidence strip prints ink along the edge of the media.
  2. This keeps CMYK inks firing properly.
  3. Recommended setting is Weeding.
  4. Status performs a nozzle check.
  5. Weeding and Status provides the highest quality.
  6. Minimum recommended setting is Weeding.
  7. Position should be closest to the carriage home position, usually the right side.
  8. Printing on both sides increases carriage travel and slows printing.
  9. Strength options are Weak, Normal, and Strong.
  10. Recommended strength is Normal.
  11. Width is commonly set to 3 mm.
  12. Distance should be at least 1 mm away from the printed image.

Print Overlap Settings

  2. Light mode is fastest and ideal for daily production.
  3. Normal increases resolution.
  4. Depth increases resolution further.
  5. Super Occlusion provides the highest resolution but slows printing.
  6. Type options include Fog and Strong A.

  8. Strong A prioritizes print quality.

Ink Charge

  1. Ink charge is used during initial ink filling or clog recovery.

Global Ink Setting

Pinch Roller and Media Control

Auto Wet Cap System

Aligning and Tensioning

Adjusting White Ink Intensity Per Image
