What you need

  • Allen key
  • Scissors
  • Pliers
  • Flat screwdriver
  • Phillips screwdriver

Uncrating the Machine

  1. Use a flat screwdriver to push the metal prongs on the top of the crate upward.
  2. Use pliers to straighten the prongs upward.
  3. Lift the lid upward to open the crate.
  4. Push the lower prongs downward in reverse to release them.
  5. Repeat the same process for the side prongs.
  6. Pull the crate walls off one by one.

Removing Crate Supports and Packaging

  1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on both sides of the crate.
  2. Remove the two horizontal support bars.
  3. Remove the plastic covers and set them aside for future use as dust covers.
  4. Remove all boxes and loose parts surrounding the machine.

Removing the Machine from the Pallet

  1. Use an Allen wrench to remove the bolts securing the machine to the pallet.
  2. Prepare a minimum of four people to assist with moving the machine.
  3. Carefully slide the machine off the pallet.
  4. Gently set the machine down on the floor.
  5. Remove all external plastic shrink wrap.

Identifying Included Components

What you need

  • Take-up system
  • Take-up brackets
  • Take-up bars
  • Cooling fan for media cooling

Installing Take-Up Brackets

  1. Remove shrink wrap from the take-up brackets.
  2. Locate the bag containing bolts and Allen key.
  3. Identify left and right brackets using the notch orientation.
  4. Attach the brackets to the machine using the provided bolts.
  5. Do not fully tighten the bolts at this time.

Installing Cooling Fan Brackets

  1. Remove shrink wrap from the cooling fan.
  2. Locate the two cooling fan brackets inside the packaging.
  3. Install the brackets using the same bolts.
  4. Ensure correct orientation and pull brackets fully outward before securing.

Installing the Cooling Fan

  1. Remove the pre-installed bolts from the cooling fan by hand.
  2. Position the cooling fan as shown in the video.
  3. Reinstall the two closest bolts without fully tightening.
  4. Install the remaining bolts.
  5. Once positioned correctly, tighten all bolts by hand.
  6. Install the power cable by turning it clockwise to tighten.

Installing the Take-Up Bars and System

  1. Loosen the bolts on top of the take-up brackets using an Allen wrench.
  2. Install the first take-up bar and lightly tighten bolts by hand.
  3. Thread the second take-up bar through the take-up system.
  4. Loosen bolts as needed to pass the bar through the holes.
  5. Position the full take-up system onto the brackets.
  6. Thread the bar through both brackets.
  7. Connect the opposite side of the take-up system to the second bar.
  8. Tighten bolts by hand to secure the bars.

Installing the Take-Up Core and Final Alignment

  1. Spread out the take-up system evenly.
  2. Install the take-up core into place.
  3. Tighten the core bolts by hand.
  4. Route the power cable on the right side as shown.
  5. Center all components.
  6. Fully tighten all bolts using the Allen key.

Vacuum and Powder Tray Setup

  1. Locate the vacuum cleaner and accessories.
  2. Plug in the vacuum to allow it to charge.
  3. Identify the tray at the bottom used to catch excess powder.

Internal Packaging Removal

  1. Remove remaining shrink wrap from the machine exterior.
  2. Unlock all four latches.
  3. Lift the heating elements.
  4. Remove all internal shrink wrap and foam.
  5. Lower the lid halfway and manually release the safety slot.
  6. Close the lid fully and lock all latches.

Final Exterior Setup

  1. Remove protective film from the take-up reel.
  2. Remove protective film from the top cover.
  3. Lift the front heating plate.
  4. Use the support beam to hold the plate open.
  5. Leave the ground wire as is, or attach it to the heating plate if static issues occur.

Power Connection and Electrical Setup

  1. Plug the power cable into an outlet.
  2. Verify power requirements: 220V, 5.2 kW, 24 amps.
  3. If required, hardwire the machine according to local standards.

Main Breaker Activation and Power-On Test

  1. Loosen the two bolts on the main breaker panel.
  2. Open the breaker lid.
  3. Turn the breaker on.
  4. Close the lid and secure it.
  5. Power on the shaker.
  6. Verify that all systems power on correctly.
