  4. Double-click the Quick Start Guide PDF file.
  5. Click on Important Resources.
  6. Download the Quick Start Guide PDF.
  7. Save a copy of the PDF to your desktop.

Required Tools and Warranty Notice

What you need

  • 17 mm nut driver bit
  • Metric hex screwdriver set
  • Wrench or pliers
  • Drill
  • Hammer
  • Forklift or lift straps
  • Minimum of six people if lifting manually
  1. Store the original crate for at least 6 months to comply with warranty requirements.

Remove Top of Crate

  1. Loosen and remove all top hex screws.
  2. Lift off the top crate panel.
  3. Place all screws and bolts into a box for storage.

Remove Side Panels

  1. Use a wrench or pliers to hold the nut.
  2. Use a drill to loosen the screws around the side panels.
  3. Remove all screws around the crate.
  4. Use a hammer to carefully pop out each side panel.
  5. Remove the top supporting frame.
  6. Remove side panels one by one.
  7. Carefully remove the plastic cover, paying close attention to the screen attachment on the left side.

Remove Cutter From Crate

  1. Remove all accessory boxes from the crate.
  2. Remove the wooden slab pieces.
  3. Lift the cutter off the crate.
  4. Use a forklift if available to prevent damage.
  5. If a forklift is not available, use lift straps.
  6. Use at least six people when lifting manually.
  7. Retract the foot stoppers.

Unpack Accessories and Screen Assembly

  2. Review all items to confirm nothing is missing.
  3. If any items are missing, contact DTF Station tech support.
  4. Carefully remove plastic wrap from the screen attachment.
  5. Attach the screen assembly to the cutter body.

  7. Push in any partially loose connectors.
  8. If unsure, leave the screen as-is and contact a DTF Station technician.

Media Assembly Installation

  2. Insert it into the designated slot.
  3. Loosen screws and attach the media attachment assembly brackets.
  4. Insert all three screws without tightening.
  5. Loosen rod screws.
  6. Slide in the media holding rods.

  8. Tighten the rod screws without overtightening.
  9. Tighten the bracket screws once rods are secured.

Electrical Inspection

  2. Open the bottom cover.
  3. Inspect all breaker connections.
  4. Slightly loosen each wire screw.
  5. Push wires in firmly.
  6. Retighten all breaker screws.
  7. Check for any loose wires.

Catch Basket Installation

Air Compressor Silencer and Connection

  2. Apply plumber’s tape to the valve threads.
  3. Attach the female coupler securely.
  4. Locate the air pipe with the male coupler.
  5. Connect it to the female coupler.
  6. Plug in the power cord.

  8. Open the air valve.
  9. Verify air pressure exceeds 60 PSI.

Air Regulator Adjustment

  2. Locate the air regulator pressure gauge.
  3. Set pressure to 20 PSI or approximately 0.5 bar.
  4. Release the top black knob.
  5. Turn clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust.
  6. Have a DTF Station technician review settings if needed.

Blade Installation

  1. Locate the blade and blade holders from the accessory box.
  2. Install the blade into the holder as shown.
  3. Verify proper blade exposure by viewing from a straight angle.
  4. Ensure only the blade tip is barely visible.
  5. Avoid excessive blade exposure to prevent belt and blade damage.
  6. Attach the blade holder to the carriage.
  7. Lock it into place.

Electrical Power Connection

  1. Inspect all plug wire connections.
  2. Ensure wires are fully seated.
  3. If necessary, have an electrician inspect wiring.
  4. For 110V versions, connect the two plugs to separate breakers.
  5. Confirm the vacuum connector is on a breaker rated for up to 20 amps.
  6. Plug all cords into outlets.
  7. Release the emergency stop button.
  8. Press the power button.

Functional Testing

Locate License File Number

  1. Click Help.
  2. Click About Digital Factory.
  3. Verify the version is Digital Factory 11.
  4. Click More.
  5. Locate the license file number starting with the letter P.
  6. Write down the license file number for your distributor.

Apply Upgrade Code

Install Arc 127 Cutter

  1. Click Devices.
  2. Select Manage Devices.

  5. Select Arc 127.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Finish.

Associate Cutter to Queue

  1. Click Q.
  2. Select Manage Queues.
  3. Open the Device drop-down menu.
  4. Select Arc 127.
  5. Click Yes.

Configure Output Port

  3. Select Port Properties.

Connect and Activate Air Compressor
