Using The View Raw Data Feature To Print Layers

1. Use the View Raw Data feature to preview a print job as separated color layers.
2. Verify which color information is being sent to the printer.

1. Import the graphic into the desired queue.
2. Select the job in the queue.
3. Right-click the job.
4. Select Rip Only.
5. Allow the job to spool without sending it to the printer.

1. Right-click the ripped job.
2. Select View Raw Data.
3. Review the warning message stating colors may not accurately reflect printed output.
4. Optionally select Remember this selection next time.
5. Click OK.

1. Use the zoom drop-down list to zoom in or out.
2. Use the Zoom In and Zoom Out tools as needed.
3. Click and drag with the zoom tool to enlarge a specific area.
4. If the Select Films to View window is not visible, click the Toggle Color Planes and Layers button.

3. After ripping completes, right-click the job again.

5. Review the Select Films to View window.
6. Confirm that only one layer is present and no white layer exists.

3. Confirm that no ink is shown when CMYK channels are not selected.
