Setting The White Choke Amount With The Digital Factory Queue Wizard

1. Use the White Choke wizard to set the amount of choke applied to the white underbase.
2. Apply choke to prevent white ink from peeking out along the edges of color areas.

1. Open the Q menu.
2. Select Set White Choke.
3. Confirm the Set White Choke dialog opens.

1. Set the page size of the print bed.
2. Example: Set the size to 14 by 16.
3. Select the graphic to use as the print sample.
4. Set the print size to allow multiple samples on one page.
5. Click Next.

1. Set the minimum choke value.
2. Set the maximum choke value.
3. Example: Set the maximum value to 10.
4. Set the increment value.
5. Example: Use increments of 2.
6. Click Print Choke Chart.

1. Leave the Set White Choke dialog open.
2. Click the Digital Factory window behind the dialog.
3. Locate the generated jobs in the queue.
4. Confirm that multiple jobs were created with choke values ranging from 2 to 10.
5. Review the choke value labels shown below each image.
6. Right-click a job and select Print, or
7. Click the Print icon above the queue.

2. Return to the Set White Choke wizard.
3. Enter the preferred choke value in the field on the right.
4. Example: Enter 5.
5. Click Next.

1. Choose how to apply the choke setting: Apply only to the queue
2. Select Create a New Print Mode.
3. Enter a name for the new print mode.
4. Click Finish.

• Create a new print mode

1. Locate the Print Mode drop-down list on the Q tab in the lower-right area of the screen.
2. Select the newly created print mode.
3. Re-select the print mode if any changes are made to ensure they apply to the queue.
