Applying Hot Melt Powder

  2. Optionally place the film in the oven for 1 second to remove humidity and static.
  3. Pour hot melt powder onto the film.
  4. Hold the film on both sides and distribute powder evenly.
  5. Ensure all wet ink is fully covered.
  6. Apply powder within 2 hours of printing.
  7. Shake off excess powder.
  8. Flick the film lightly to remove remaining residue.
  9. Use a powder shaker if available.

Curing the Film

  2. Do not activate the air purifier while the oven is heating.
  3. Set the curing temperature.
  4. Minimum curing temperature is 120 C or 248 F.

  7. Place the film in the center of the curing bed.
  8. Start the timer.
  9. Stop the alarm when curing is complete.
  10. Use heat resistant gloves to remove the film.

Inspecting and Storing Cured Film

Heat Press Application

Peeling and Finishing
