Step 1 – Prepare the Printer Open the front cover fully. Verify there is no film loaded in the printer. Open the right-side door near the ink station. Turn the knob counterclockwise to release the ink carriage. Move the carriage to the center of the printer.
Step 2 – Release Belt Tension Open the left-side door. Loosen the two side screws on the left side. Confirm belt tension is reduced to allow bearing removal. Move to the right side of the printer. Remove the bottom screw. Remove the top screw. Remove the bracket to expose the bearing. Use an Allen key to remove the old bearing. Compare the old bearing with the new bearing to confirm correct replacement. Insert the new bearing into the belt. Align the bearing with the center screw hole. Use the Allen key to tighten the bearing fully. Reinstall the bearing bracket. Secure the top screw. Secure the bottom screw. Move back to the left side of the printer. Tighten the two side screws to restore belt tension. Close all printer covers. Power on the printer. Open Hosonsoft and confirm connection. Go to Advanced settings. Enter the password: 111111 (six ones). Navigate to the X Motor / Gear Ratio section. Set Target Move to 100. Click Check to calibrate. Set Target Move to 300. Click Check again. Go to File and click Save. Navigate to Operation and click Initialize. The light bulb icon should be green. What you need
