What you need
- If white ink is peeking left or right on the film, do not use this procedure • Left or right misalignment requires channel calibration instead • Contact a DTF Station technician before proceeding if unsure

- Loosen the two outer bottom screws slightly to create wiggle room 2) Loosen the two inner bottom screws 3) Loosen the two top screws slightly 4) Adjust the tilt by tightening or loosening the appropriate side SECTION (04:40–05:20) Securing the Print Head
- Tighten all four bottom screws evenly 2) Tighten the two top screws 3) Ensure the mounting plate is flush with the carriage SECTION (05:20–05:55) Rechecking Alignment

- Open DigiRip 2) Load a high-resolution alignment image 3) Click Devices 4) Select Print Test Page 5) Scroll down and choose Alignment 6) Print and verify proper color and white alignment SECTION (End)
- Vertical misalignment appears as white ink peeking above or below the color layer • This is caused by the print head being physically tilted • A tilted print head causes CMYK and white layers to misalign vertically
- Review the vertical check pattern in Pilot • Overlapping vertical CMYK and white strips should align perfectly • Misaligned strips indicate the print head is tilted
- If strips are misaligned, the print head is tilted • In the example shown, the print head is tilted counterclockwise
- Do not press down on the print head cover • Excess pressure can cause further misalignment
- Four bottom screws control print head position • Larger outer screws fix the print head position • Smaller inner screws adjust the tilt angle • Two top screws secure the mounting plate
- In the example, the left side screws were tightened to correct a counterclockwise tilt
- Compare results to the previous test • Repeat adjustment steps if needed until alignment is correct
