SECTION (00:00:22) Printing the Alignment Image in DigiRip
What you need
- Perform this test after completing print head calibration
- Open DigiRip
- Confirm DTF Station Pilot is running and connected
- Click Devices
- Select Print Test Page
- Scroll down and select the Alignment Image
- Wait for the clock icon to change to a preview
- Select the correct print mode matching film and resolution

- Remove the film from the printer
- Place film in the oven without applying powder
- Cure for 3 minutes

- Use this image to verify color and white layer alignment
- Avoid using other graphics as they may be inaccurate
- Ensure images are at least 300 DPI to prevent white haze
- Bypass the cover sensor if needed
- Observe color and white layers as they print
- Confirm white ink fits inside the colored box
- Expect a black outer box with smaller white coverage
- White choke is normal and intentional
- White ink expands more than color ink
- Use a backlight to inspect the printed boxes
- Check whether white ink stays inside the color box
- Identify misalignment direction if present
- If misaligned top to bottom redo vertical headspace calibration
- If misaligned left to right redo horizontal headspace calibration
- If box edges appear fuzzy redo bidirectional calibration
- Color fuzziness is normal but box edges should be sharp
- Refer to the calibration video specific to your printer model
