SECTION (00:00:20) Accessing Firmware Upgrade Menu

What you need

  • Locate the motherboard firmware file
  1. Open PrintExp (also known as HosonSoft)
  2. Select the Advanced tab
  3. Click Version Info
  4. Click Upgrade SECTION (00:00:40) Running the Firmware Update
  5. Select the motherboard firmware UPF file
  6. Check the confirmation checkbox
  7. Click Upgrade
  8. Immediately click OK to confirm SECTION (00:01:05) Restarting After Upgrade
  9. Restart the printer
  10. Restart the PrintExp (HosonSoft) software SECTION (00:01:33)
  • Ensure the file type is UPF
  • Place the firmware file on your desktop or an easy-to-find location
  • A delay during initialization or parameter loading is normal
  • Wait for parameters to finish loading
  • Motherboard firmware update is complete
