SECTION (00:32–00:55) Cause of White Ink Contamination SECTION (00:55–01:20) Correct White Ink Circulation Setting
What you need
- White ink turning dark or black is typically caused by incorrect white ink circulation settings after a fill ink
- Locate the white ink circulation intensity knob
- Adjust the knob to 20% or below SECTION (01:20–End) If Contamination Persists SECTION (01:20–End) Support
- This issue commonly occurs if the circulation intensity is left too high
- During initial setup, white ink circulation is set to 100%
- This high setting is used temporarily for approximately one hour
- If not reduced afterward, color ink can contaminate the white ink line
- White ink circulation must always be returned to 20% or lower after fill ink
- Leaving the circulation at 100% will cause contamination
- Verify the white ink circulation is correctly set to 20% or below
- If contamination continues, contact DTF Station technical support
- Tech support will provide instructions to drain the ink tube if required
