Accessing Pilot Settings

Select Clean Flush to perform a quick ink spit into the caps.
Select Clean Weak for a standard cleaning cycle.
Select Clean Normal for longer cleaning with increased pump pressure.
Select Clean Strong for the longest and most aggressive cleaning cycle.

Carriage Margin Settings

Set Type to Together.
Confirm that Together limits carriage movement to the print width.
Understand that disabling Together causes the carriage to travel across the full media width.
Set Auto Reset to Yes.
Confirm Auto Reset resets carriage width after each print.

Media Settings

Measure the distance from the carriage home position to the start of the media.
Enter the measured value in millimeters.
Confirm the example value is 50 mm.

Confidence Strip Settings

Understand that the confidence strip fires CMYK ink to prevent drying.
Select Weaving as the preferred minimum option.
Optionally select Weaving and Status for best quality.
Avoid disabling the confidence strip.
Set Position to the side closest to the carriage home position.
Select Right side as recommended.
Avoid selecting Both unless necessary.
Set Strength to Normal.
Adjust Strength to Strong only if additional ink flow is needed.
Set Strip Width to 3 mm.
Adjust width if needed.
Set Distance at least 1 mm away from the printed image.

Print Overlap Settings

Select Light for daily production and fastest speed.
Select Normal for higher resolution than Light.
Select Depth for higher resolution than Normal.
Select Super Occlusion for maximum resolution with reduced speed.
Set Type to Fog for faster output.

Ink Charge Function

Use Ink Charge during initial ink filling.
Use Ink Charge to resolve clogging issues.
Understand that ink charge raises the capping station and pumps ink to the waste tank.

Optionally enable Horizontal Mirror if required.

Global Ink and Spot Color Settings

Enable Global Ink Setting to adjust ink volume globally.

Increase white ink multiplier if needed.
Understand that doubling white ink significantly reduces print speed.
Review print speed impact after enabling Global Ink.

Reset Global Ink multiplier to 1.
Disable Global Ink Setting.
Click Save.
Locate Spot Color setting.
Uncheck Enable if selected.

Media Handling Preparation

Unbox the new media roll.
Identify that the printing side of the media is on the outside of the roll.
Avoid touching the media surface with bare hands to prevent oil contamination.
Handle the roll by holding the media core only.

Loading a New Media Roll

Lift the media roll using the core.
Place the left side of the roll onto the left media holder.
Support the roll with the back of your hand.
Slide the right media holder inward to secure the roll.
Tighten the right media holder to lock the roll in place.
Remove the tape securing the film if the roll is new.
Press 1 on the media motor to advance a small amount of film.

Feeding Media into the Printer

Route the media under the tension rod.
Press the lever button to lift the media rollers.
Feed the media through the back of the printer.
Press the lever button again to lower the rollers and secure the media.
Press 1 on the media motor to create slack in the film.
Move to the front of the printer.
Press the Down arrow to advance the media forward.

Tension Adjustment and Positioning

Open NeoStampa.
Click New Job.
Select the printer.
Select the desired scheme.
Press OK. 00:00:46 Importing Images You can import images in three ways:
Click Add File and select an image.
Drag and drop an image from the desktop.
Click Open Job and select an image file. Each method will load images into NeoStampa. When using Open Job, a new tab is created, indicating a new batch. 00:01:20 Editing and Nesting Images
Select images to resize, rotate, or duplicate.
Use Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste duplicates.
Click Nest to optimize media usage.
Set nesting margin to 0.25 for cutting space.

Click File.
Click Save.
Save the file to your desktop.
CPS files can be reopened in NeoStampa for reprints or edits. PRT File:
Click Print instead of Save.

Select an image.
Click White Effect Layer on the right panel.
Under Flat method, adjust the Intensity percentage.

Adjust brightness, contrast, or saturation.
Preview changes.
Click Apply.
Click the three-dot menu.
Select Advanced.
Click Input Defaults.
Enable color adjustments.
Adjust values as desired.
Click OK, then Save.
Select Yes to apply changes globally.
Select the Color Replacement tool.
Click the target color in the image.
Review the RGB values.
Adjust RGB values as needed.
Click OK.
Open Color Replacement.
Select the color.
Click Variations.
Adjust deviation and step values.
Click OK to generate the chart.
Rotate and nest the chart.
Print the chart.
Choose the preferred RGB value and adjust artwork accordingly.

Do not move or use PRT files until processing is complete.
CPS files are ideal for reorders and workflow organization.
PRT files cannot be imported back into NeoStampa.
