Steps

  1. Pre-Installation Check 1.1 Documentation OverviewThe following printed documents are included with your machine: Accessories List — Identifies supplied accessories, including included items, fasteners, and related components. Stand Assembly Guide (this document) — Provides instructions and safety precautions for assembling the stand. User's Manual — Describes machine functions, operating procedures, and important operational considerations. Safety Instructions — Contains mandatory safety information that must be observed when using the machine. 1.2 Installation and PlacementInstallation and placement of this machine must be performed by trained and qualified personnel. Transportation, unloading, and installation must be carried out by trained and qualified personnel only. Proper handling requires appropriate equipment and technical expertise. Failure to use suitable equipment or qualified personnel may result in serious injury, property damage, or major accidents. 1.3 Installation Location PrecautionsInstall the machine in a stable, vibration-free environment suitable for reliable operation. Installing the machine in an unsuitable location may result in accidents, fire hazards, operational malfunction, or equipment damage. Install the machine on a level, stable surface capable of supporting its full weight. Failure to install the machine on an appropriate surface may result in serious accidents, including tipping, falling, or structural collapse. Do not install the machine outdoors or in any location exposed to water, moisture, or high humidity. Failure to prevent electrical leakage may result in electric shock or fire. Install the machine so that the power plug remains easily accessible at all times. In the event of an emergency, the power plug must be disconnected quickly. Position the machine near a suitable power outlet and maintain sufficient clearance to ensure immediate access to the plug. Install the machine in a clean, well-lit environment suitable for safe operation. Working in a dark, obstructed, or cluttered area may result in accidents, including tripping hazards or becoming caught in moving components. Do not install the machine near flammable materials or in areas where combustible gases may be present. Failure to comply may result in fire or explosion. Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated in accordance with applicable environmental, health, and safety requirements. Insufficient ventilation may result in health hazards or increased fire risk due to the accumulation of ink vapors. Unsuitable Installation Locations Do not install the machine in any of the following environments. Installation in unsuitable locations may result in malfunction, reduced performance, or equipment damage: Areas subject to significant temperature or humidity fluctuations Locations exposed to vibration or mechanical shock Sloped, uneven, or structurally unstable flooring Dusty or contaminated environments Areas exposed to direct sunlight Locations near air conditioners, heaters, or other heat sources Areas exposed to water, moisture, or strong airflow Locations subject to electrical noise, magnetic interference, or other sources of electromagnetic disturbance 1.4 Temperature and HumidityMaintain the specified temperature and humidity conditions at all times, including when the machine is not in operation. Failure to comply may result in malfunction, reduced performance, or equipment damage. During Operation Temperature: 20 to 28°C (68 to 83°F) Humidity: 40 to 60% RH (no condensation) When Not in Operation Temperature: 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) Humidity: 30 to 80% RH (no condensation) 1.5 Installation and Working SpaceThe following space is required for installing and operating this machine: DimensionLength Width A: Equipment Size2535mm 1200mm (Height: 1605mm) B: Recommended Installation Space 3530mm2200mm C: Recommended Operating Space4530mm3200mm

  3. Assembly and Ink Filling Unloading and installation must be performed by six or more people. These tasks require coordinated effort by all personnel. If the machine or components are dropped, serious personal injury may result. After installation, the machine should appear as shown below. Step 1: Stand Assembly1. Installing the Left Support LegLoosen the screws on the base so that the support leg mounting plates can move freely. Insert the support leg into the slot in the base and secure it using four M6×16 hex socket screws. Make sure the left support leg is installed on the left base. The "L" marking must face the same direction on both parts. Do not fully tighten the screws at this stage. Install the screws from the bottom, then fully secure all remaining screws.
  4. Installing the Right Support LegRepeat the procedure in Step 1 to install the right support leg.
  5. Installing the Support Leg Reinforcement PlateSecure the reinforcement plate using M6×16 hex socket screws. Do not fully tighten the screws yet, only lightly seat them. Secure the side of the reinforcement plate with M6×16 hex socket screws and then fully tighten all screws. Make sure the side of the reinforcement plate is parallel to the support leg. Ensure the reinforcement plate is fully flush with the support leg with no gaps. Any gap may affect the installation of the printer body afterward.
  6. Installing the Rear Support Leg Reinforcement PlateRepeat Step 3 to install the rear reinforcement plate.
  7. Installing the Slide Rail Fixing PlateRemove the large flat-head M4×10 screws and the slide rail stopper plate, and set them aside. Install the slide rail fixing plate onto the support legs using M6×16 hex socket screws. Make sure the side of the plate is parallel to the support leg. Insert the rear tension bar into the slide rail. The bar must move smoothly up and down without resistance. If the movement is not smooth, adjust the slide rail fixing plate. Reinstall the slide rail stopper plate. Check whether the stopper plate interferes with the rear tension bar. Lift the rear tension bar and confirm that the bearing remains inside the stopper plate. If the bearing contacts the stopper plate, readjust Step 5(2).
  8. Installing the Printer BodyMethod 1: Lift the printer body onto the stand using six or more people. Method 2: Lift the printer body using a forklift. Use the two brackets underneath the printer as the hard point. Secure the printer body using M6×16 hex socket screws. Secure the bottom beam reinforcement plate using M6×16 hex socket screws.
  9. Installing the Media Holder Assembly Secure the media holder brackets using M6×16 hex socket screws. Insert the media holder shaft through the brackets. Install the media holders. Make sure the media holder switches face outward. The back side of the take-up reel is open. The front side has to slide onto the shafts first before the right side of the shaft is placed into the bracket. Secure the shaft using M6×20 hex socket screws. Secure the film sensor bracket using M4×6 flathead screws.
  10. Installing the Computer Monitor Arm (optional)Secure the display arm using M6×16 hex socket screws. Secure the keyboard tray using M6×16 hex socket screws.
  11. Installing the Computer Base Plate (optional)Install the computer base plate in the designated position.
  12. Installing the Waste Ink HolderAfter securing the waste ink holder, insert the waste ink tube into the waste ink bottle.
  13. Installing the Maintenance Solution Bottle HolderInstall the maintenance solution bottle holder securely.
  14. Installing the Ink BottlesSecure the ink bottles using M4×6 large flat-head screws. Color labels are pre-applied at the factory. Remove the ink tubes from the ink tube guide. Connect each tube to the corresponding ink bottle according to the tube code and color label. Step 2: Removing Transport Locks Remove all transport locks before powering on the machine. Failure to remove transport locks may result in malfunction or equipment damage during startup. Retain all transport locks for future use. They must be reinstalled if the machine is relocated or transported. Open the front cover and remove the carriage fixing blocks. Remove the media guide protective stickers and move the media guide to both sides of the platen. For additional support, visit the DTF Station Help Center or contact our support team.
