This guide walks through installing DTF Station Pilot and configuring the network port for a Prestige R1 DTF printer. Installing DTF Station Pilot

1. Start Installation

2. Accept License & Install Dependencies

Launching Pilot & Initial Checks

  • If installation appears stuck:
  • Check the **taskbar** for pop-up windows.
  • Complete any prompts that require confirmation.

4. Rename & Open Pilot

  1. Once installed, rename the **DTF Station Pilot** icon to **R1**.
  2. Double-click the icon to launch Pilot.

Ethernet Connection Setup

  • **Left connection symbol (blinking red)**:
  • Computer is not communicating with the printer.
  • **Right light bulb (red or yellow)**:
  • Errors are present.
  • Click the **light bulb** to open the **Log** tab.

6. Connect Hardware

  1. Connect the **Ethernet cable**.
  2. Turn **printer power ON**.
  3. Connection symbol may still blink red initially.

7. Identify Ethernet Adapter

  2. Type **Ethernet** and open **Ethernet Settings**.
  3. Look for an **Unidentified Network**.

8. Confirm Correct Adapter

  2. Temporarily unplug the Ethernet cable.
  3. Observe which adapter disconnects.
  4. The adapter that turns off is the printer connection Network Configuration in Pilot

9. Open Network Settings

  2. Go to **Advanced** → **Admin Menu** → **Network**.

10. Select Ethernet Adapter

  2. Click **Set**, then **OK**.
  3. Wait **5–10 seconds**. Confirming Connection
  • Example format: `192.168.1.XX`
  • Do **not** use **10** for the last digits.
