Use this process when printed colors do not match the expected ink order. This ensures the ink order in Neostampa matches the physical ink order in the printer dampers. This is commonly required after ink changes, head swaps, or system setup.
Step 1 – Print the Custom Ink Setup Chart Open Neostampa. Go to the Printer Scheme Manager window. Click the three dots (options menu). Click Edit. In the new window, locate and click Print. Allow the printer to print the custom ink chart. The chart will show printed colors. Each color will have a number printed directly beneath it. What you need
Take a clear photo of the printed color chart. Take a screenshot of the Custom Ink Setup page in Neostampa. Send both the photo and screenshot to your technician for review. Compare the printed chart to the ink order shown in Neostampa. Confirm whether the printed color order matches the software order. If the order does NOT match, proceed to revise the ink order. EXAMPLE This indicates the two colors need to be swapped in software. Software shows: Green = Position 8 Red = Position 9 Printed chart shows: Red = Position 8 Green = Position 9 In the Custom Ink Setup window, select Green. Change Green to Red. Select Red. Change Red to Green. Confirm the order now visually matches the printed chart.
Step 5 – Save and Apply Changes Click OK. Click Save. When prompted to confirm modification of the printer scheme, click Yes. Wait while Neostampa rebuilds the printer profiles.
Completion Ink order in Neostampa now matches the physical ink order. Color output should now be correct.
