Required Tools and Preparation

What you need

  • Gloves
  • Isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher)
  • Lint-free cloth
  • Brush

Cooling and Safe Shutdown

  1. Turn off all power except the purifier fan.
  2. Open the powder station cover and the main heating chamber cover.
  3. Allow the purifier fan to run for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Wait until the main heating plate temperature drops to room temperature.
  5. Turn off the purifier fan.
  6. Push the control panel in.
  7. Turn off the main power.

Heating Chamber Cleaning

  1. Brush off any powder on the main heating plate.
  2. Use a lint-free cloth with 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol to wipe the main heating plate.
  3. Do not use rubbing alcohol.
  4. Wipe surrounding surfaces inside the heating chamber.
  5. Clean the upper cover area to remove excess powder or debris.
  6. Close and lock the main heating chamber cover.

Filter and Fan Cleaning

What you need

  • Filters should still be replaced monthly despite daily rotation
  1. Open the filter cover.
  2. Clean the filter cover.
  3. Wipe the upper fan area, including the bottom of the cover and the fan position.
  4. Remove all HEPA and charcoal filters.
  5. Place filters in a cool, ventilated area to dry.
  6. Wipe all filter housing surfaces to remove powder and debris.
  7. Install the spare purifier filter included with the Miro 36.
  8. Rotate filters daily to extend filter life.
  9. Ensure the charcoal filter side faces upward when installing.
  10. Close the filter cover.
  11. Close and lock the upper fan cover.

Powder Station and Sensor Cleaning

  1. Open the powder station cover.
  2. Remove the media wheel rod.
  3. Use a brush to remove excess powder inside the powder station.
  4. Clean around the sensor carefully.
  5. Do not scratch the sensor with the brush.
  6. Gently wipe the sensor face using a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol.

Powder Tray Handling

What you need

  • Protect powder from air, moisture, and dust
  • Powder shelf life is 1 year
  • Do not leave powder in the tray after use
  • Store used powder separately from new powder
  • Gradually mix used powder with new powder for future use
  1. Remove the powder tray at the bottom of the machine.
  2. Pour the powder into a sealed container.
  3. Clean excess powder accumulated under the powder collection tray.
  4. Sweep collected powder into the powder tray.

Removing the Glycerin Catch Trays

  1. Locate the glycerin catch trays on both sides of the Miro 36.
  2. Loosen the screws securing each tray.
  3. Carefully remove both trays from the machine.

Cleaning the Trays

  1. Use isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to clean each glycerin catch tray thoroughly.
  2. Remove all glycerin residue and debris.
  3. Allow the trays to dry completely before reinstallation.

Reinstallation and Shutdown

  1. Reinstall the glycerin catch trays on both sides of the machine.
  2. Secure the trays by tightening the screws.
  3. Close all covers.
  4. Unplug the power cable.
  5. Cover the machine with the provided black cover to protect it from dust and debris.

Power Down and Access Purifier Chamber

Purifier Fan Cleaning

  1. Use a screwdriver to remove the fan brackets.
  2. Carefully remove each fan.
  3. Clean glycerin residue from the fan surfaces using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
  4. Repeat this process for all purifier fans.
  5. Reinstall each fan, ensuring: Proper alignment
  6. Reattach the fan brackets securely.
  7. Turn on the purifier fan briefly to confirm proper operation.
  8. Turn the purifier fan back off after testing.

HEPA and Charcoal Filter Replacement

  2. Remove the old HEPA/charcoal filters.
  3. Install new filters, ensuring: White side faces downward
  4. Reinstall the fan cover plate.

Cotton Fabric and Lid Cleaning

  1. Remove the white cotton fabric from the purifier chamber lid.
  2. Use a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol to clean grease buildup on the back of the lid.
  3. Allow the surface to dry.
  4. Reattach the cotton fabric.
  5. Repeat cleaning for any remaining applicable areas inside the chamber.

Side Air Filter Replacement

  1. Remove the side air filters from the machine.
  2. Install new side air filters, ensuring: White side faces outward
  3. Repeat the process for the opposite side.
  • Gray side faces inward

Reassembly and Shutdown

What you need

  • Fans cleaned and tested
  • HEPA/charcoal filters replaced
  • Cotton fabric cleaned and reinstalled
  • Side air filters replaced
  • Machine safely powered down and covered
  1. Close the purifier chamber lid.
  2. Secure all latches.
  3. Unplug the power cord.
  4. Cover the machine with the provided black fabric cover to protect it from dust and debris.
