What you need

  • Screwdriver
  • 2mm hex screwdriver
  1. Identify that the shaking paddle has stopped working.
  2. Understand the three possible causes: shaking paddle, wire connections, or motor.

Checking the Shaking Paddle Lock

  1. Pull or wiggle the shaking paddle rod side to side.
  2. Check if the rod can be removed easily.
  3. If the rod moves freely, the bearing lock is loose.
  4. Tighten the bearing lock screws as tightly as possible.
  5. Turn on the power.
  6. Verify that the bearing lock and rod move together.
  7. If they do not move together, turn off the power and tighten the screws again.

Checking Wire Connections

  2. Remove the powder tray.
  3. Loosen the side screws.
  4. Open the side panel.
  5. Locate the wire shown in the video.
  6. Check if the wire connection is properly plugged in.
  7. Tighten or reconnect the wire if loose.
  8. Turn on the power and test the shaking paddle again.

  • No motor noise or movement indicates the motor may need replacement
  1. If wire connections are secure, turn off the power.
  2. Use the 2mm hex screwdriver to unscrew the shaking paddle from the motor.
  3. Set the paddle aside.
  4. Loosen the motor mounting screws.
  5. Remove the cable ties.
  6. Turn on the power.
  7. Check if the motor runs or makes any noise.

Removing the Old Motor

  9. Open the cover.
  10. Disconnect the motor wire.
