  • Gloves
  • Replacement heating element (only if instructed by a technician)
  • Allen wrench set (front heating element replacement only)

Section 1 – Checking Main Heating Element Connections

  1. Power on the shaker and check the current temperature of the main heating unit.
  2. If the temperature reading is unrealistically high, turn the shaker off.
  3. Rotate the locking knobs counterclockwise.
  4. Pull the powdering unit away from the oven.
  5. Locate the three main cables connecting the powdering unit to the oven.
  6. Ensure all three cables are fully seated.
  7. If a cable is loose: Push it fully in.
  8. Power the shaker back on and check the temperature again.
  9. If the temperature is normal: Reorganize the cables.
  10. If the temperature is still abnormal, continue to Section 2.
  • Rotate the locking ring clockwise to secure it.
  • Ensure the oven feet are fully resting on the floor.
  • Push the powdering unit back against the oven.
  • Rotate the locking knobs clockwise to secure everything.

Section 2 – Checking Main Heating Element Terminal Connections

  1. Turn the shaker off.
  2. Open the powdering station cover.
  3. Unlock and lift the oven cover.
  4. Lift the main heating element.
  5. Locate and remove the terminal cover.
  6. Lightly tug on each wire to check for looseness.
  7. If a wire comes loose: Push it fully back in.
  8. Lightly tug the wire again to confirm it is seated.
  9. Lower the heating element back into place.
  10. Power the shaker on and check the temperature.
  11. If normal: Close and lock the oven cover.
  12. If still abnormal, continue to Section 3.
  • Tighten the screw clockwise until secure.
  • Close the powdering station cover.

Section 3 – Troubleshooting the Front Heating Element

  1. With the unit powered on, check the front heating element temperature.
  2. If the temperature is unrealistically high: Turn the shaker off.
  3. Remove the front panel by removing the four screws.
  4. Locate the terminal and remove the terminal cover.
  5. Lightly tug on each wire.
  6. If a wire comes loose: Push it fully in.
  7. Lightly tug again to confirm it is secure.
  8. Plug the unit back in.
  9. Power it on and check the temperature.
  10. If normal: Turn the shaker off.
  • Unplug the unit.
  • Tighten the screw clockwise.
  • Reinstall the terminal cover.
  • Reinstall the front panel.
  • Secure it with the four screws.

Section 4 – Replacing the Front Heating Element

  1. Only perform this step if instructed by a technician.
  2. Turn the shaker off and unplug it.
  3. Remove the front panel by removing the four screws.
  4. Remove the terminal cover.
  5. Loosen the screws on the left side of the terminal.
  6. Remove all four wires.
  7. Lift the front heating element and secure it in the topmost position.
  8. Remove the white cable.
  9. With one person holding the heating element: Have a second person remove the four bolts from the two hinges.
  10. Remove the front heating element.
  11. Position the new front heating element.
  12. Loosely install one bolt on each side for alignment.
  13. Install the remaining bolts.
  14. Fully tighten all four bolts.
  15. Raise the heating element to its topmost position.
  16. Route the cable through the opening to the terminal area.
  17. Connect all four wires to the left side of the terminal: Match wire colors to the opposite side.
  18. Push each wire fully in while tightening the screws.
  19. Lightly tug each wire to confirm it is secure.
  20. Plug the unit in and power it on.
  21. Check the temperature.
  22. If normal: Power off the unit.
  • Reinstall the terminal cover.
  • Reinstall the front panel.
  • Secure it with the four screws.

Section 5 – Replacing the Main Heating Element

  1. Only perform this step if instructed by a technician.
  2. Turn the shaker off.
  3. Open the powdering station cover.
  4. Unlock and lift the oven cover.
  5. Lift the main heating element.
  6. Remove the terminal cover.
  7. Loosen the four screws on the bottom side of the terminal.
  8. Remove all four wires.
  9. Remove the main heating element.
  10. Position the new main heating element.
  11. Route all four wires through the center opening.
  12. Connect each wire to the terminal: Match wire color and coating to the opposite side.
  13. Push each wire fully in while tightening the screws.
  14. Lightly tug each wire to confirm it is secure.
  15. Reinstall the terminal cover.
  16. Lower the heating element.
  17. Power the shaker on and verify the temperature has returned to a normal range.
  18. Close and lock the oven cover.
  19. Close the powdering station cover.

This completes troubleshooting and replacement of heating elements on the Miro 36.
