What you need
- Blank control panel may indicate a power supply issue
- Turn on the printer and observe the power light
- If the power light is on but the control panel is blank, continue troubleshooting
- Unscrew and remove the back panel
- Check the power supply indicator light
- If the indicator light is off, turn off the main power
- Inspect all power supply wire connections
- Tighten any loose screws or connectors
- Turn the power back on and test the control panel again SECTION (00:00:58) Check Power Supply Voltage
- Set the multimeter to DC voltage (60V range)
- Turn on the printer
- Place the black probe on the blue negative wire
- Use the red probe to measure each positive terminal SECTION (00:01:18) Expected Voltage Readings SECTION (00:01:55) Voltage Evaluation SECTION (00:02:14) Prepare for Power Supply Replacement
- Turn off the main power
- Remove the back panel
- Open the printer lid
- Take a photo of all wire connections for reference SECTION (00:02:36) Remove the Power Supply
- Loosen and remove the interface screws
- Carefully disconnect all wires
- Remove the faulty power supply from the printer SECTION (00:03:04) Install the New Power Supply
- Position the new power supply in place
- Loosely secure it with screws
- Reconnect wires according to labels and reference photo SECTION (00:03:32) Wire Connection Reference SECTION (00:05:10) Final Checks
- Tighten all terminal screws securely
- Turn on the printer
- Confirm the power supply indicator light is green
- Verify the control panel and temperature display are functioning SECTION (00:07:55) Reassembly
- Turn off the main power
- Close the printer lid
- Reinstall the interface cover
- Reattach the back panel SECTION (00:08:38)
- Common causes are loose wire connections or incorrect voltage output

- Screwdriver
- Multimeter
- First positive terminal: 42V (41.9V is acceptable)
- Second terminal: 24V
- Third terminal: 24V
- Additional 24V and 42V terminals should match labeled values
- If all voltage readings are correct, the power supply is functioning
- If any voltage reading is incorrect, the power supply is faulty and must be replaced
- Input wires:
- Positive input wire
- Negative input wire
- Ground wire
- Output terminals:
- Two terminals labeled 42V
- Two terminals labeled 24V
- Negative outputs: 24V, 24V, 42V
- Positive outputs: 24V, 24V, 42V
- Do not mix 42V and 24V connections
- Printer should now power on normally with a functioning control panel
- If issues persist, contact a DTF Station technician
