How to Setup Hot Folder - Neostampa

This guide explains how to set up and use **Hot Folders** in NeoStampa. Hot folders automate processing and printing by triggering jobs as soon as files are placed into a designated folder—no manual setup required. Opening Hot Folder Configuration

1. Open **NeoStampa**.
2. Click to open the **Hot Folder Configuration**. Creating a New Hot Folder

1. Click **New Hot Folder**.
2. Set the **Path** for the main hot folder.
3. Choose a location on your system.
4. Create a new folder.
5. Name the folder clearly for easy identification.
6. Click **OK** to confirm.

Configuring Output & File Handling

• The new hot folder is now created and ready for configuration.

1. Choose where printed files will be stored.
2. If **Delete Files** is enabled: Original files will be removed after printing.
3. Recommended setup: Enable **Move Printed Files**. Printer, Scheme & Trigger Settings

• Create a dedicated folder for completed jobs.

1. Choose the **Printer** assigned to this hot folder.
2. Select the appropriate **Print Scheme**.

Layout & Processing Preferences

• Set when the job should start:
• Example: Number of files required in the hot folder before processing begins.

Activating the Hot Folder

• Set options such as:
• Layout
• Nesting
• These settings help optimize media usage.

1. Enable the hot folder.
2. Set the **Interval Time**: How often NeoStampa checks the folder for new files.
3. Click **OK** to save settings.

1. Open the folder containing your design file.
2. Copy the file.
3. Paste it into the **Hot Folder**.
4. NeoStampa processes and prints the job automatically.
5. The file moves to the **Printed Files** folder after completion. Printing Multiple Designs in One Job

1. Reopen **Hot Folder Settings**.
2. Double-click the hot folder.
3. Change the **Number of Files per Job**.
4. Click **OK** to apply.

1. Right-click the processed job.
2. Select **Reopen Job**.
