How to Perform Nozzle Check and Head Cleaning on the Prestige A4

This video walks you through the daily morning maintenance steps to ensure your Prestige A4 is operating properly.

1. Make sure the printer is powered on.
2. Connect the USB cable to the printer.
3. Open DigiRIP Pro.

1. In DigiRIP Pro, click “Devices.”
2. Select “Printer Properties.”
3. Run a head clean.

1. Confirm the printer is turned on.
2. Go to the “Queue” menu.
3. Select “Manage Queues.”
4. Verify the correct USB port is selected.
5. Confirm the control panel software is installed.

1. Once the head cleaning is complete, wait for the flashing light to turn solid.
2. Run a nozzle check print pattern.

1. Repeat the head cleaning and nozzle check process as necessary.
2. If you see heavy nozzle breakage: Perform a pull from the back.
3. If only a few nozzles are missing: Continue with regular head cleaning and nozzle checks.

Daily morning maintenance is complete, and the printer is ready for operation.
