Purpose of Queue Backups

- Use queue backups to save selected queues, print modes, and media settings.
- Use backups to distribute settings to additional installations.
- Use backups to restore settings after system errors or during new installations.
Accessing Queue Manager

- Open the Q menu.
- Select Manage Queues.
- Review the list of current queues.

- Hold Shift or Control while clicking to select multiple queues.
Exporting Queue Backups

What you need
- Store the backup in a safe location
- Keep a copy on a separate computer, external storage device, or cloud drive
- Backup includes:
- Selected queues
- Print modes for installed drivers
- Print media options for installed drivers
- Click the Export Queue icon at the top of the dialog.
- Choose a name for the backup file.
- Choose a save location.
- Save the backup file.
Requirements Before Restoring a Backup

What you need
- Queue backups do not include printer or cutter drivers
- Install the required printer drivers.
- Install any optional cutter drivers if used.
- Confirm that drivers are installed before restoring.
Restoring Queues by Drag and Drop

- Locate the queue backup file.
- Drag and drop the backup file into the software window.
- Respond to the prompt asking if the printer is already installed.
- If the printer is not installed, install it first.
- If the printer is installed, click Yes.
- Allow the queues, print modes, and media settings to restore.
Restoring Queues Using Queue Manager

- Open the Q menu.
- Select Manage Queues.
- Click the Import Queue icon at the top of the dialog.
- Navigate to the location of the queue backup file.
- Select the desired backup file.
- Click OK.
- Confirm that the required drivers are installed.
- Click Yes to complete the restore process.
