  1. Use this procedure to change the substrate color so white areas of images are visible against the canvas.

What you need

  • Any color code can be used
  • Substrate color can be customized based on preference
  1. Locate the Q Properties panel.
  2. Double-click Q Properties to open the settings.
  3. Identify the current substrate color, which is set to white.
  4. Select the color field.
  5. Enter a new color value.
  6. Set the color value to 235 255 255.
  7. Click OK to apply the change.

Verifying the Substrate Color Change

  1. Import or bring an image into the workspace.
  2. Confirm that the canvas background displays the newly selected substrate color.
