Setting the Print Start Position

• The print start position represents the distance from the **print head home position** to the start of the film.
• This measurement can be referenced directly on the printer.
• A correct setting ensures proper alignment and print quality.

• Example shown: **55 mm** from the print head home position.
• Typical range when the film roll is loaded correctly:
• **50–60 mm**

1. In **DTF Station Pilot**, locate the **Print Start Position** setting.
2. Enter a value within the recommended range based on how your film is loaded.

1. Run a **Nozzle Check** after setting the print start position.

• Observe where the **confidence strip / color bar** prints:
• ✅ **On the film** → Print start position is set correctly.
• ❌ **On the metal guide at the top of the bed** → Adjustment is needed.

2. Perform another nozzle check.
