These videos are requested by DTF Station technicians to properly diagnose issues. The goal is to clearly show how the head cleaning process is performing. Poor camera angles or lighting can prevent technicians from assessing the issue correctly.

Film at a low angle, shooting slightly upward. Ensure the following are visible at all times: Capping station making contact with the print head Avoid filming too high: The print head will not be visible. Avoid filming too low: The capping station will not be visible. Angle the camera so the wiper blade is not blocked by the printer frame. Every step of the head cleaning cycle must be visible. Chapter 1 — Prestige R1 Add a dedicated light source aimed at the print head area. Position the camera low and angle it slightly upward. Frame the shot so you can see: The capping station contacting the print head Adjust the angle to prevent the printer frame from blocking the wiper blade. Confirm all head cleaning steps are clearly visible before recording. The surface of the print head The wiper blade during its wipe motion Use an external light to fully illuminate the print head area. Position the camera so all of the following are clearly visible: Cap movement Avoid shallow or offset angles: If droplets forming on the print head face are not visible, the angle is incorrect. Print head face Wiper blade contact If wiper blade contact cannot be seen, the angle is insufficient. Because these printers have two vertically stacked print heads: You may need to record from the side. Keep the camera low enough to see: The face of both print heads. Do not film from too high of an angle: The print heads will not be visible. Maintain the same lighting and visibility standards as the front view. This printer has a very narrow viewing gap. Position the camera carefully so both are visible: Caps Even small angle changes can block visibility. Use an external light to increase clarity in the narrow viewing area. Confirm visibility before recording the full head cleaning cycle. Caps contacting the print head are clearly visible. Print head face can be seen during cleaning. Wiper blade contact and wiping motion are visible. Lighting is bright and consistent. Entire head cleaning cycle is captured without obstruction.
