Steps

  1. Select the job in the queue.
  2. Click the Soft Proof or Color Replacement Preview button in the top-right corner.
  3. Allow Digital Factory to render the job in the layout preview using the queue’s print mode.

Adjusting Colors for a Single Print Job

  1. Ensure the job is selected in the queue.
  2. Click the Color Adjust button at the bottom of the Job tab.
  3. In the Easy Color Adjustments window, adjust Brightness using the slider or enter a value in the field on the right.
  4. Adjust Saturation using the slider or enter a value in the field on the right.
  5. Click OK to apply the changes.
  6. Click the Soft Proof or Color Replacement Preview button in the top-right corner.
  7. Review the updated preview showing the adjusted colors.

Applying Recurring Color Adjustments to an Entire Queue

What you need

  • All new jobs added to this queue will automatically use the adjusted color settings
  • Existing jobs are not retroactively changed unless manually adjusted
  • Queue-based color adjustments help reduce repetitive setup during production
  1. Identify a print medium that consistently requires color adjustment.
  2. Click the Q tab.
  3. Click the Color Adjust button at the bottom of the queue settings.
  4. Adjust the color sliders to the desired values.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
