How to Install Drivers

1. This guide walks through setting up queues using the **Q Wizard** in DigiRIP.
2. It covers: Installing printer drivers

1. Open the **Q Wizard** window.
2. Click **Next**.
3. Click **Next** again.
4. Select **Install Printer**.
5. Make sure your computer has an active internet connection.

1. A list of available drivers will appear.
2. Examples: **Epson F3070**: One DTG driver
3. The same driver format applies to **Ricoh** and **Brother** printers.

• One DTF driver
• **Epson F2100**:
• Use **F2100 Series DTF**
• Use **F2100 Series**
• Dual CMYK option is available if the printer is configured for double CMYK instead of dual white
• **Epson F2000**:
• DTF Series
• Additional configurations similar to F2100
• **Epson F227 / F2200**:
• DTF setup
• White setup

1. Select **F2200 Precision White** driver.
2. Click **OK**.
3. Click **Next**.
4. Click **Next** again.

1. Under **Port Setup**, select **File**.
2. This is used for **PRN file output**, typically saved to a flash drive.
3. Click **Next**.
4. Click **Finish**.

1. If prompted by Windows Defender Firewall: Check **Private**
2. Click **Allow Access**.
3. This ensures DigiRIP can communicate with the printer.

• Check **Public**

1. Go to **Devices**.
2. Click **Manage Devices**.
3. Click **Add**.
4. Search for the additional driver.
5. Select the driver and click **OK**.
6. Click **Next**.
7. Under **Printer Port Setup**, select **File**.
8. Click **Next**, then **Finish**.
9. You will now see multiple drivers installed (example: DTF and White).

1. Click **View**.
2. Select **UI Mode**.
3. Choose **Next Gen**.
4. Restart DigiRIP.
5. Dark mode will now be enabled.

Common queues include:

• White Shirts
• Color Shirts
• Black Shirts
• White Only

1. Select the queue you want to adjust (example: **Black Shirts**).
2. Open **Q Properties**.
3. Locate **Print Mode**.
4. Default example: 600 × 600 resolution
5. Recommended example: **1200 × 600**
6. Apply this setting.
7. Repeat the same adjustment for: White Shirts
8. For **White Only**: Leave at **4 passes** unless otherwise needed.

1. Go to **Devices**.
2. Click **Manage Print Modes**.
3. Locate an existing print mode.
4. Right-click the mode.
5. Select **Create Copy** or **Rename**.
6. Enter a custom name.
7. Double-click the new mode to edit it.

• **Layer Profile**
• Color Layer:
• Prints all colors
• Highlight white enabled
• Maximum ink percentage adjustable
• **Highlight White**
• Default example: 9
• Can be increased if needed
• **White Layer**
• Uses **Underbase**
• Optional **Underbase + Highlight** mode adds more white on light surfaces
• **Printer Options**
• Resolution and pass count adjustments available

1. Example selection: 1200 × 600 at 8 passes
2. Higher options available: Up to **1200 × 1200**
3. Additional options are available for: Color Layer

• White Layer

DTF queues include:

• Light Shirts
• Dark Shirts
• Black Knockout
• White Only

• **Light Shirts**
• Uses less white underbase
• Ensure enough white to prevent cracking
• **Dark Shirts**
• Uses heavier white underbase
• White Underbase typically set to **100%**
• **Black Knockout**
• No white or black is printed
• **White Only**
• Prints white only
• Any imported colors are ignored

• Default profiles include predefined print modes.
• Universal film profiles are also available.
