How to Disable Auto Job Rotation

1. This guide explains how to disable automatic job rotation in DigiRIP so images can be rotated manually.
2. This is recommended if: You are unable to rotate an image manually
3. Auto rotation is controlled by layout settings, not the image itself.

• The rotate option appears disabled

1. By default, DigiRIP automatically rotates images to: Maximize media width usage
2. When auto rotation is enabled: DigiRIP controls image orientation

• Optimize layout efficiency
• Manual rotation is blocked, even if the rotate option appears available

1. Locate **Q Properties**.
2. Double-click **Q Properties** to open the settings window.
3. Select the **Layout Manager** tab.

1. In **Layout Manager**, locate **Layout Mode**.
2. Confirm **Auto Nest** is currently selected.
3. Under the Auto Nest settings: Uncheck **Allow job rotation when block nesting**.
4. This disables DigiRIP’s automatic image rotation behavior.

1. Once auto job rotation is disabled: DigiRIP will no longer rotate images automatically.
2. You can now manually rotate images as needed within the workspace.
