Steps
- Open DigiRip
- Right-click on the image in the preview screen
- Click Super Size Image
- View the current resolution value shown in the window
- This value represents the current DPI of the image SECTION (00:00:00) DPI Requirement SECTION (00:00:34) Effect of Enlarging an Image
- Increase the image size, for example from 7 inches to 10 inches wide
- Right-click the image again
- Select Super Size Image
- Observe that the DPI decreases when the image is enlarged

- In the Super Size Image window, enter 300 as the new resolution
- Click OK
- Review Super Size options such as edge sharpening, surface smoothness, cleanliness, and chroma
- Leave settings unchanged if no adjustments are needed
- Click OK to proceed
- Wait for the status to change from Editing to Pending SECTION (00:01:50) Verify Updated DPI
- Right-click the image again
- Select Super Size Image
- Confirm the DPI now shows 300 SECTION (00:01:50) Effect of Reducing Image Size
- Reduce the image size, for example from 10 inches to 5 inches wide
- Right-click the image
- Select Super Size Image
- Observe that the DPI increases automatically
- Example: DPI may increase from 300 to 600 SECTION (00:02:21) DPI Adjustment Rules
- Recommended DPI for DTF printing is 300 DPI
- If the image is already at 300 DPI, no changes are required
- DPI can be increased but cannot be reduced
- If DPI exceeds 300, no adjustment is required
- DigiRip does not allow lowering DPI once it is above 300
- Higher DPI values are acceptable for printing
